Chocolate has special powers. It’s a reset button. It’s an “I’m special” affirmation. It’s a “You’re my person” confirmation. It’s an escape to a kingdom where royalty rules with chocolate scepters. It’s a luxury with transformative powers. Our mission is to craft this chocolate … chocolate that changes attitudes, redefines situations, and erases transgressions.

How does Specc’s Chocolates ship?
Waiting for your chocolate is no fun. We get that, so we ship first class and send you tracking information as soon as it ships.
Will my chocolate melt during shipping?
Melted chocolate just won’t do. When we ship to warm weather climates, we’ll give you a call and ask if you’d like us to pack in a cooler.
How long does it take for orders to be shipped?
We make your chocolate when we receive your order. Most often, your chocolates are made, packed, and shipped within 48 hours of receiving your order. Need it sooner? Call us (607-331-4276) and we’ll see what we can do.
What is the shelf life?
Our chocolate is made fresh and has the potential to last for months. It won’t. You’ll eat it long before that. But it could.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated at time of check-out. We do not mark-up shipping, and we do not charge a handling fee to ship.
Is the chocolate gluten free and vegan?
We use Callebaut's iconic couverture chocolates. They stand out with deep, warm color, prominent roasted cocoa flavors, and seductive notes. They do have dairy products, so our chocolates are NOT vegan. They do comply with a gluten-free diet.
What are the ingredients in your chocolates?
We use coverture chocolates, not compound chocolate. Please refer to the product pages for a list of ingredients in each flavor.
Is the chocolate sugar free?
Yes, we have sugar free milk chocolate couverture that works well with our solid chocolate flavored bites.
Does the chocolate have … (allergen)?
We make our chocolates in an Ag and Markets approved kitchen where we also use nuts, dairy, wheat, and eggs.
What cause does Specc’s Chocolates support?
For some people, the dopamine-boosting powers of chocolate are not enough. Because of this, we support the National Alliance on Mental Illness with a donation every May.
Your candy doesn’t fit on my diet. I’ll check back some other time.
If your diet restricts certain foods, we hope you’ll look for a new one! Depriving yourself of treats and luxuries is not good for your mental health. You deserve to indulge occasionally. You deserve to feel like royalty every now and then. We hope you'll give our chocolates a try.
What happens if I don’t like it?
We hope you love our chocolates. If for some reason – any reason – you don’t, please let us know. We are sorry and will make it right with either a full refund or a new shipment. Your choice.
